    Prostitute in Nigeria is a wield field which many young ladies and Women who are married still engage in term prostitute. Is also practiced both men. So did not just wake up one morning and say she want to become a prostitute. So many have reasons which led them to prostituted.




Meaning of Prostitution

    Prostitute is known as the world oldest profession and one of the most common vices. This act is also known as commercial sex where both people both male and female engage in sexual activities in the exchange of money and paid off, benefit such as material things, connection, or Favour. A prostitute could be man or woman regardless of their age or agenda. Prostitute is also known for another name (ASHAWO). A female prostitute must be attractive and good in bed while a male prostitute must have a high sexdrive, good sex skills.


Reasons Why Youth Or Women Involved Theirselves In Prostitution.
            1. Poverty

 Many young ones go into prostitution so as to make ends meet. The first reasons why they turn into prostitute is to make money. The poverty rate is increasing at an alarming rate and people, especially those that are not discipline into other means of making money. Some young girls in school with no guardian support or any means of support to pay for their funds. See prostitute as a means of survival.

            2.Victims Of Rape, Child Labour, Trafficking

 Some of them are victims of sex slavery, rape, childlabour, and trafficking. Those who are sexually abused or raped when they are young see nothing great divine or important about sex. Sex have been detailed due to their childhood experienced. Some have low esteem and other sexual disorder that later lead them into prostitution, some young ones are forced into sex. 

           3. Peer Pressure Of Friends

Most people/Ladies that are in this act are being lured by friend's sibling or family members. Peer group has the highest influence of a child. The people a child keeps following will determine who he or she become. Youth are majorly influenced by people around them since they have not really mapped out. 

            4. Lack Of Parent Care

Most children become wayward when they have no one to guide and monitor them. Those with parent tend to be lured into social vices or media. The ladies are free to attend parties, where they are exposed to bad influence and girls already involved in prostitution, will deceive and lure them into it. Prostitution is a vice that should not be legalized nor encouraged. Although it the oldest profession of all time. They are exposed to contact diseases like HIV Unwanted pregnancy which can lead them to abortion while some die.

           5. Laziness And Quick Money

Youth and student nowadays are lazy, they don't want to work instead they want quick money. Those that work with little wages are being intimated by their colleagues that are making money without no work. This drains the moral of the innocent ones . Those making them to be involved in prostitution, some young ones that are from wealthy home are those involved in the act. They are greedy to have more wealth.
